Ali Kurr is an award winning writer and director based in London. She cut her teeth making music videos for artists including Loyle Carner, Amber Run and Rina Sawayama while studying at the prestigious Courtauld Institute of Art where she was awarded a prize for her final year work. With a background in fine art, her work marries poetic cinematography with subtle performances to create heightened realities. Recently, she won the title of Emerging Brit 2019 from the National Youth Film Academy. Kurr is currently developing her first TV show following the success of her first short film Sparrow, which was produced by Bafta nominated producer Sorcha Bacon.
